CEOE Speech-Language Pathologist Test

Consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions, the CEOE Speech-Language Pathologist Test requires knowledge in a number of different fields, all focused on different aspects of the task of helping students with communication disorders.

Generally, review information that promotes the understanding of students with communication disorders, such as typical speech/language development and the various communication disorders (hearing, speech, language).

The CEOE Speech-Language Pathologist Test also requires knowledge in assessing students' speech, hearing, and language acquisition to effectively develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs).

Beyond the symptoms, the test emphasizes knowledge in the ways to improve speech, hearing, communication, independence, and academic achievement of students with communication disorders.

The test also addresses the collaborative learning community and how to expand it for the student in family, school, and local community settings, as well as the history of special education.
