CEOE Library-Media Specialist Test Practice Questions

The CEOE Library-Media Specialist Test has an 80-question multiple-choice section, which is weighted 85 percent. This section covers four areas:

• Library media program - role of the program, its relationship to curriculum/information resources/extracurricular services, role of the specialist, legal/ethical, and professional development
• Information literacy skills - promotion of, searching, evaluation of information, communication, and project assessment
• Curriculum and resources - program support, resources, literature, technological resources, equipment, and procedures
• Program administration and leadership - development of a library media program, facilities, scheduling, staff management, budgeting, and resource organization and circulation

In addition to the multiple-choice section, the test contains a written-response section focusing on information literary skills. That section is worth 15 percent of the total.
