CEOE Early Childhood Education Test

To prepare for the CEOE Early Childhood Education Test, look back to class textbooks, any notes you may have taken, etc., paying particular attention to the following topics, and be able to apply your knowledge to assess a child's skill level and encourage learning:

Language and literacy development - language, literacy, listening/speaking, writing, second language
Learning and curriculum - cognitive development, mathematics, social studies, science, the arts, physical development
Child development and education programs - emotions/ego, social skills, teaching aids/technology, history/philosophy of early childhood education

The test contains a written section, which tests your knowledge about language and literacy development and accounts for 15 percent of your test score, and a multiple-choice section, which covers the entire body of knowledge and accounts for the remaining 85 percent of your score.
